Description:

Research Grade Ramatercept is a soluble ACVR2 antagonist, a fusion protein of the extracellular component activin A receptor type 2B and the Fc region of IgG1. Ramatercept inhibits myostatin downstream signaling events that limit muscular tissue growth, suggesting that inactivating ActRIIB may lead to a substantial increase in skeletal muscle cell volume. Ramatercept may have a role in preventing muscle atrophy.
