Research Grade Peresolimab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets human Programmed cell death protein 1 (CD279). Peresolimab was developed as a human PD-1 receptor agonist for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and plaque psoriasis. Peresolimab stimulates the PD-1 receptor as a means of preventing pathogenic immune cells from replicating, decreasing their overactivity and restore normal homeostasis.
