Description:

Fabrazyme is a recombinant human alpha-galactosidase A enzyme used as long-term enzyme replacement therapy in the treatment of Fabry disease, an inherited disease caused by the lack of α-galactosidase A in the body. The mature protein is comprised of two subunits of 398 amino acids (approximately 51 KD), each of which contains three N-linked glycosylation sites.
