Interleukin-12 subunit beta / Interleukin-12 subunit alpha

Uniprot ID:

P43432/P43431

Source:

HEK293 cells

Molecular Weight:

predicted p35 = 21.7 kDa, p40 = 35.8 kDa, total predicted 57.5 kDa

Formulation:

10 mM sodium phosphate, 50 mM NaCl, pH 7.5

Purity:

≥95.0% by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE

Biological Activity:

≤20 ng/ml, as determined by the induced expression of CD25 on CD8+ mouse T cells

Specific Activity:

≥5.0 x 104 units/mg

Endotoxin Level:

≤ 1 EU/μg protein, by kinetic LAL

Reconstitution:

Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute by gently pipetting to wash down the sides of the vial to ensure full recovery of the protein into solution. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized product with sterile water at a concentration of 0.1 mg/mL, which can be further diluted into other aqueous solutions.

Storage/Stability:

Store as supplied for up to 1 year at -20°C to -80°C. Reconstituted material should stored as working aliquots at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is added for long term storage.
