Osteocrin is a secreted protein/ hormone which appears to modulate osteoblastic differentiation. It may also function as an autocrine and paracrine factor linked to glucose metabolism in skeletal muscle. Recent data suggests Osteocrin may also play a part in human neuronal activity.
