Biological Activity:

The ED50 as determined by cAMP accumulation in human FSH Receptor transfected Chinese Hamster Ovary cells was found to be 80-450 pg/ml.

Reconstitution:

Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Add sterile distilled water to the vial to fully solubilize the protein to a concentration not less than 100 µg/ml. DO NOT VORTEX. After complete solubilization of the protein, product may be further diluted into working aliquots with an aqueous solution containing a carrier protein, such as 0.1 % BSA or HSA.

Storage/Stability:

Lyophilized product is stable at room temperature for up to three weeks. Upon receipt, store as supplied at -20°C to -80°C for up to 1 year. After reconstitution as directed, FSH is stable for up to 1 week at 2-8°C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
