Description:

Rat Anti-Mouse CD86 monoclonal antibody was produced from a mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a rat immunized with LPS stimulated mouse B-cells. IgG2 fraction of the culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. CD86 is an 80 kDa immunoglobulin superfamily member. CD86 is expressed on activated B- and Tcells, macrophages, dendritic cells and astrocytes. CD86 binds to CD28 to transduce costimulatory signals for T-cell activation, proliferation, and cytokine production.
