Description:

A heparin-neutralizing protein which is contained in platelet storage granules. Platelet Factor 4 is released during aggregation. Chemotactic for neutrophils and monocytes. Inhibits endothelial cell proliferation, the shortened form (Endothelial cell growth inhibitor) is a more potent inhibitor than the longer form.
