Synonyms:
Coagulation Factor VII, Proconvertin, Serum prothrombin conversion accelerator, SPCA
Description:
Native Human factor VII is purified using a combination of conventional techniques and immunoaffinity chromatography. Human Factor VII is a single-chain vitamin K dependent glycoprotein found in trace quantities in plasma (0.5 mg/L). In the Tissue Factor Pathway of coagulation, Human Factor Vlla, in the presence of calcium ions and tissue factor, activates Factors IX and X to their enzymatically active forms, Factor IXa and Xa.
