Native Human Alpha-2-Antiplasmin

Synonyms:

Alpha-2-antiplasmin, Alpha-2-AP, Alpha-2-plasmin inhibitor (Alpha-2-PI), Serpin F2

Species:

Human

Cat. No.:

CRA158B pdf (datasheet)

Quantity/Size:

500 ug

Description:

Alpha-2-antiplasmin, a serine protease inhibitor, with major targets plasmin and trypsin, efficiently inhibits the plasminogen-activator-induced lysis of fibrin clots. Found in plasma at about 70 ug per ml. Alpha-antiplasmin-deficiency is a rare coagulation disorder which allows unrestrained fibrinolytic activity. Individuals with this condition may receive therapeutic A2AP prior to surgery to prevent postoperative hemorrhaging.
