Fibrinogen alpha, beta and gamma monomers polymerize to form the insoluble fibrin matrix which has a major function in hemostasis as a primary component of blood clots. Bovine fibrinogen amino terminal labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). Prepared from fresh bovine plasma using several chromatographic steps.
