Application notes:

ELISA: reacts with purified porcine brain MAP-2. Immunoblotting: reacts with microtubule proteins, thermostable fraction of microtubule proteins, whole brain tissue lysates (pig, mouse) reacts only with MAP-2. No reactivity in immunoblotting on cell lysates from non-neuronal cell lines (HeLa, 3T3). IHC: Suitable for cryosections of human material. Works on samples fixed with methanol/acetone, paraformaldehyde/Triton X-100, even on unfixed material.
