Description:

Inhibitory monoclonal antibody to human and mouse PAI-1. It binds to an epitope localized to the F-Helix of PAI-1. The PAI-1/mab complex becomes a substrate rather than an inhibitor of its target proteinases tPA and urokinase. Currently being studied as a potential therapeutic agent in animal models.
