MON 3037 recognizes all known basic (Type II) keratins. It’s broadly reactive and stains positively almost all epithelia and their neoplasms. This antibody together with MON 3037 has been used for studying the immuno-localization of epidermal keratins, tissue distribution and epithelia development. AE-1 and AE-3 have also been used extensively, individually or mixed, for distinguishing carcinoma from noncarcinoma
