Description:

Monoclonal antibody 8H9 is a murine IgG1 hybridoma developed from mice immunized with human neuroblastoma. Clone 8H9 has a high affinity for B7H3 (CD276), a tumor-associated surface immunomodulatory glycoprotein and was shown to bind the FG loop of B7-H3. B7-H3 is widely expressed among solid tumors and is strongly correlated with recurrence, metastasis, and death. The murine monoclonal drug Omburtamab was under investigation for the treatment of metastatic brain cancer, now under clinical development for other cancer immunotherapies.
